Trader Overseas

Our office is located at A-8/28 in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. It’s a quieter part of the city compared to the markets, which we appreciate. Trader Overseas is basically a small team of people trying to make sense of the shipping world. We’ve been at this address for a while and the routine is pretty much set. We arrive, check the emails that came in overnight, and start making calls. The office has a few plants that we keep forgetting to water, and a coffee machine that only works if you hit it on the side. It’s a very human space. We don’t have fancy marketing brochures or a team of people in suits. It’s just us in our sweaters or shirts, dealing with the paperwork that comes with overseas trade. Sometimes the logistics get messy and we have to sit around the table and figure out a new plan. Vasant Vihar is a nice area to walk around when we need a break from the screens. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years while we stayed right here. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just do our best to stay on top of things and keep the records straight. It’s a lot of quiet focus mixed with the occasional frantic afternoon when a deadline is approaching. We keep the lights on late when we need to, but mostly we just try to keep a steady pace every day.
