Tomar Fertilizers & Chemicals

Our office is up on the 4th floor of the NSP building in Pitampura, specifically at room 405. It’s a different world up here compared to the farms where our products actually end up. Tomar Fertilizers & Chemicals is mostly about paperwork and phone calls these days. I spend a lot of my time looking out the window at the Metro trains passing by while talking to suppliers. The office is usually filled with the sound of the printer going or someone arguing about a delivery schedule on the mobile. We have samples of different things in jars on the shelves, but mostly it is just files and ledgers. It gets a bit cramped when we have a few people visiting at once. The elevator in this building is sometimes slow, so we end up waiting a lot. It is a very different vibe from being out in the fields, but this is where the planning happens. We keep a small kettle for making tea because the days can get pretty long when the season is busy. Sometimes the air conditioning makes a weird whistling sound, but we just ignore it. It’s just a regular office where we try to stay on top of the chemical and fertilizer trade without too much fuss. We’ve been in this NSP spot for a while now.
