Tki Abacus Academy

Tki Abacus Academy is over at C-219 in Lajpat Nagar, Part-1. We are situated right near the railway lines, so you can definitely hear the trains passing by quite often throughout the day. It’s something you get used to after a few days of working here. We teach kids how to use the abacus and work on their mental math skills. It’s a simple setup with some desks and chairs where the students sit and practice their lessons. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling with shoppers and traffic, and our little corner is no different. Parents bring their kids here after school, and the place fills up with the sound of clicking beads and children talking. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local academy trying to help kids in the area get better at numbers. The space is practical and we try to keep it organized, though with children around, there’s always a bit of a mess to clean up. We started this because we saw a need for basic math help in the neighborhood and had the space to do it. It’s rewarding to see a kid finally understand a difficult concept after practicing. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just about the learning and the practice. The walk from the main road to our building is familiar to everyone around here. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen many students come and go over the seasons as they grow.
