The Air Force School

The Air Force School is located in Subroto Park, right in the middle of Delhi Cant. It is a large campus with plenty of open space, which is nice because it doesn't feel too cramped. Since we are in the Cantonment, you can often hear planes flying overhead or see military vehicles on the roads nearby. The buildings have been here for a long time and they have a very practical look to them. We have classrooms that are basic but have everything needed for the day's lessons. The furniture is sturdy but shows some wear and tear from years of students sitting in them. Our playground is big and gets used a lot for cricket and football games. The teachers and staff have a steady routine that they follow every single day. It’s not a fancy place with lots of decorations; it’s more about the work being done in the classrooms. In the mornings, the gate is a busy spot with kids arriving on their cycles or in buses. The staff room is usually a hub of activity with people checking notebooks and preparing for their next class. During the rainy season, some of the paths get a few puddles, but everyone just walks around them. It is a straightforward kind of school where life moves at a regular pace. Once the day ends, the campus gets very quiet and the birds take over the trees.
