Tehelka Tuition Bureau

Tehelka Tuition Bureau is right in the middle of Munirka at the Baba Gang Nath Market, specifically at C 211. If you know the market, you know how loud and crowded it can get with all the shoppers and vendors. Our space is tucked away inside, where it is a little bit quieter so the students can actually focus on their books. We have some wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, and a whiteboard that always has some math problems or grammar rules written on it. Munirka is a big hub for students because it is close to the universities, so we get a lot of young people coming in after their regular classes are over. The bureau isn't anything fancy; it’s just a place where people come to learn things they didn't catch in school. We have a few different tutors who come in at different times. Usually, there is a lot of tea drinking and paper shuffling going on in the small office area. Finding C 211 can be tricky if you are new to the market, so we tell people to look for the landmark shops nearby. We don't do much in the way of big brochures. Most of our students come because their friends told them we could help them pass their exams. It is a busy, slightly chaotic environment but it works for us and the kids.
