Tarini Trendz

Okhla Phase 1 is a pretty intense place if you aren’t used to it. Our spot for Tarini Trendz is at B 272, and you have to keep your eyes peeled or you’ll miss the turn into the lane. There are trucks everywhere, mostly loading or unloading stuff all day long, so it gets crowded. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the dry season when the wind picks up. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It’s got that old industrial feel to it, you know? The stairs are a bit steep and the lighting in the common hallway flickers sometimes when the machines next door start up. We just keep our heads down and do our work inside. There’s always the sound of machinery or someone shouting directions in the distance. It’s not exactly the quietest neighborhood, but it’s where everything happens in this city. We have a small space where we keep all the stock and a couple of desks for the computer work and billing. Usually, we are too busy to notice the noise outside. If you come by in the afternoon, the sun hits the front windows really hard, so we keep the blinds down mostly to stay cool. It’s just a practical space for what we do. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy outside to show off. People who need to find us usually know the way. There’s a little shop around the corner that sells decent snacks and tea when we’re working late.
