Tarashma Engineers

No. 7/19, Jwala Nagar Chowk is where you'll find us. We're Tarashma Engineers. It's a busy spot in Shahdara. We spend most of our time working with metal and parts. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going. We've got a few machines that have been with us since the start. They work fine. The floor is usually covered in shavings. We don't bother cleaning until the end of the shift. It’s practical work. We see a lot of regular faces from the area. People bring in things that need fixing or custom parts. We just look at it and see what can be done. There isn't a reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy. Shahdara is a crowded place, but we like it here. The traffic at the chowk can be a headache in the evenings. We usually close up when the sun goes down. We aren't doing anything revolutionary. It's just engineering. We focus on the task at hand. If a machine breaks, we fix it. If a client needs a specific piece, we try to make it. That's our day. We don't have a big marketing plan, we just rely on the folks around here knowing we're here. The sign outside is a bit faded, but most people know the way by now.
