Junior Engg.

So we are over here at Flat No-3 in D-64, right in the middle of Dilshad Colony. It’s a busy spot in Delhi, as anyone who lives nearby knows. Junior Engg. isn’t some huge fancy corporation with a glass building and a lobby. We just have this small space where we get things done. It’s been 110095 for a long time now. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the windows to let some air in before the traffic gets really loud outside on the main road. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we grab snacks and drinks when things get a bit hectic in the afternoon. The flat is a bit cramped sometimes with all the parts and stacks of paperwork lying around, but it works well enough for us. Most days it’s just about keeping the machines running and making sure the orders are sorted correctly. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone sitting at a front desk. People usually just knock and walk in to see if we are around. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but honestly, we are too busy to worry about that right now. It gets quite hot in the summers, so the old fan stays on all day long. My neighbor often stops by to chat for a minute while I’m sorting through the ledger. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here. Nothing too complicated or flashy at all. We’ve been at this address for a while and people know us.
