Suitup By Salil Jaisingh is located at A-61 in Naraina Vihar. It’s a solid spot in a busy part of the city. We have been working out of this space at Naraina Vihar for some time now and it suits us just fine. The shop isn’t meant to be some high-end gallery; it’s a place where we actually work. You’ll see measuring tapes lying around, half-finished suits on hangers, and rolls of fabric waiting to be cut. It smells like ironed cloth and steam most of the time. We aren’t really into the whole big corporate look, so the place feels more like a workshop than a showroom. A-61 is where we spend our mornings and late evenings. The street outside can get a bit loud with cars and people, but inside Suitup By Salil Jaisingh, we just keep our heads down and focus on the stitching. We know most of the people who come through the door by name. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and see what we are doing. We don’t have any hidden back rooms; everything is pretty much out in the open. We take our time with the details because that is just how we were taught to do things. Naraina Vihar is a good community to be a part of, and we are happy to have our little shop right here in the middle of it all.
