St Thomas School

You can find us in Goyala Vihar, which is part of the 110071 area in Delhi. It’s a bit tucked away, which is actually quite nice because it stays a little quieter than the main roads. The school has been part of this neighborhood for quite a while. We have a main gate where a guard sits all day, and a small yard where the kids gather for assembly. The building is a simple concrete structure with several levels. The classrooms are filled with wooden desks and chairs that have seen many years of use. We don't have fancy elevators or high-tech security systems; we just use keys and common sense. The staff is a mix of people who have been here forever and some newer faces. We all know each other’s names and usually share a meal during the lunch break. The students come from the local streets around Goyala Vihar, so most of them are neighbors outside of school too. We spend our days teaching the usual subjects and dealing with the small dramas that happen when you have a lot of kids in one place. It’s a very grounded environment. We don't use any slick marketing phrases or try to sound like something we aren't. We just open the doors every morning, do our jobs, and make sure the kids are learning what they need to. It’s a basic, honest way to run a school.
