St Andrews Scots Senior Secondary School

St Andrews Scots Senior Secondary School has been sitting here at 9Th Avenue I P Extension for quite a while now. Most people know us because we’re tucked right behind Narwana Apartments, which helps with the wind sometimes but makes the morning traffic a bit of a mess. It is just a regular school where we try to keep the fans running and the chalkboards clean before the kids arrive. The building has seen a lot of seasons. We spend a lot of time just managing the day-to-day stuff, like fixing the chairs or making sure the gate is locked on time. You can hear the noise from the street all day, but inside the classrooms, it gets a bit quieter once the lessons start. We don't have fancy waterfalls or anything like that. It’s mostly just brick and concrete and a lot of old desks that have seen better days. The staff stays busy with paperwork and making sure everyone is where they should be. Sometimes the bells don’t ring exactly on the minute, but we get by. We’ve got the senior secondary students moving through the halls, always in a hurry. It’s a bit cramped during the lunch break when everyone is out in the corridors, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We just keep the lights on and do what needs doing every day without making a big fuss about it.
