Ssanskriti Couture Creation Private Limited is based in Mahipal Pur Extension. We are situated in Gali Number 9, on the ground floor of a building in Block A. The plot is specifically Khasra Number 408. It's a bit of a dusty area near the airport, so there’s always the sound of planes overhead. We do couture work here, which sounds fancy, but the reality is just a lot of hard work over sewing machines and cutting tables. We have fabric everywhere. Silk, cotton, and all sorts of trimmings. It’s a ground floor unit so it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a relief. We aren't a big factory. We are more of a small workshop where we pay attention to the details of each piece. Some days we are just busy doing embroidery by hand for hours. It’s quiet work mostly. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they are looking for specific custom work. We’ve had some ups and downs like any business in Delhi. Sometimes we struggle to get the right thread color or a machine breaks down. But we just fix it and keep going. We like the creative side of it, even if the business side is mostly just tracking expenses and making sure everyone gets paid on time. It's just us in our little corner of Mahipal Pur.
