Soy

Soy is located right on the Main Road in Mahila Colony, which is part of the Gandhi Nagar area. Specifically, we're at number 11. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment. There’s always a car honking or someone walking by. Our shop is just a basic setup for serving food. We didn’t go for any of those modern, minimalist designs you see in the malls. We just put in what was necessary to get the kitchen running. The staff here are mostly local folks who know the area well. We spend our days prepping ingredients and handling the rush hours. It gets pretty cramped behind the counter when we’re busy. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just make the food and hope people enjoy it. Sometimes the power goes out or the water delivery is late, and we just deal with it like everyone else on this street. It’s an honest way to make a living. People from Gandhi Nagar stop in on their way home from work. We recognize a lot of the faces now. It’s just a normal shop on a busy street. We don’t put on any airs. If you’re looking for Soy, just look for the sign near Mahila Colony. We’re usually there from morning until late, just making sure the burners are going and the orders moving out to the street for whoever is hungry.
