Tasty Tiffins In Dwarka

We started Tasty Tiffins In Dwarka from our kitchen over in Dayal Park, West Sagar Pur. It really just began because people around here needed decent, home-style food that didn't taste like it came out of a factory. Our spot at Rz-33/256 is pretty busy these days. Most mornings involve a lot of chopping and packing up dabbas for people working in and around Dwarka. We don't have a fancy dining room or anything like that. It is just a small setup where we cook what we’d eat ourselves. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when the lunch rush starts, but we manage to get the food out. My aunt helps with the recipes, and we keep things simple with dal, sabzi, and rotis. We’ve lived in this part of New Delhi for a long time, so we know the neighborhood well. It’s hard work, waking up early to get the fresh vegetables from the market. We don’t use any of those heavy oils or too much spice that ruins the stomach. People seem to appreciate that. The address is easy to find if you're near Sagar Pur, though we're mostly out on the road delivering. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, just a reliable one for a daily meal. It’s just us doing our thing every day, making sure the tiffins are warm when they reach you. We handle everything from the cooking to the cleaning ourselves. It is a long day, but it feels good when the containers come back empty.
