Archana India

Our place, Archana India, is situated right near the South Extension Part 2 petrol pump. It’s a busy area, so there’s always a lot of noise from the cars and scooters getting fuel. Being in South Extension means there are plenty of other shops around, but we just stay focused on our own little corner. We have a lot of items packed into the space. It’s not a giant warehouse, just a regular business spot. We spend a lot of our day checking through the inventory and making sure everything is accounted for. The petrol pump is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. Sometimes we go out for a quick tea and see the same people waiting in line for gas. Inside the shop, it’s mostly quiet unless we have the radio on. We’ve been here for a bit and the walls are covered with different samples and bits of paper. It’s not very polished or corporate-looking. It’s more of a working space where things happen at their own pace. We have some heavy desks and a few chairs for when we need to sit down and sort through paperwork. It feels like a second home to us since we spend so many hours here. We keep the front door clean and try to keep the dust away, which is hard in this part of town. We usually keep a kettle in the corner for when the afternoon gets a bit slow. It's a busy spot but we just keep to ourselves and get the work finished.
