Puja Adorn

You can find us at D-13 in South Extension Part-1. If you have ever been to South Ex, you know how crazy the parking can be and how many people are always walking around. Our shop, Puja Adorn, is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a small space but we’ve packed it with a lot of items. We mostly focus on things that people use to decorate or wear. The walls are covered in shelves. It gets a bit crowded when more than three people come in at once. We spend a lot of time dusting everything because the Delhi air is quite dirty. My cousin usually sits at the front to greet people. We don't have a big corporate setup. It's just a family-run place. Sometimes we stay open late if there are customers, especially during the festival season. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, which makes it feel cozy I guess. We have a small storage room in the back that is always a mess. We try to keep things organized, but when new stock arrives, it just goes everywhere. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our sales, just a simple receipt book and a calculator. It’s a bit old-fashioned but we like talking to the customers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same spot at D-13.
