We’ve been here at A-21 Second Street in Abu Fazal Enclave for a good while now. Okhla is always busy, and our little spot is right in the middle of it. It’s mostly just us working on different types of clothes every day. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they need something made or fixed. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a workspace with machines and fabrics everywhere. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded, especially in the evenings, but we like it here. We started out small and just kept going because people kept coming back. My brother and I usually handle everything ourselves. If you walk down Second Street, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth is usually how people find out about what we’re doing. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when there’s a big order to finish, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s always tea going in the afternoon if things get too hectic. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we get the work done. It feels good to be part of the community here in Okhla. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still right here in the same spot doing what we know how to do.
