Our place is Flat No. 50, located in the Central Market of Lajpat Nagar-II. It is a bit different being in a flat rather than a regular storefront on the ground, but it works for what we do. You have to walk through the busy market area to find us, which can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. Inside, it is mostly quiet compared to the street noise outside, which is a relief most of the time. We have stacks of different materials and boxes piled up in the corners. It is a practical workspace, not a showroom for pictures. We spend our hours focusing on the details of whatever project is on the table that morning. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always something that needs finishing. It is just a small operation here. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do; we just make things. The windows look out over the rooftops of the other shops nearby. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic around, but we keep the workspace as clean as we can. It’s a real, local spot where the work comes first. No frills, no corporate vibes, just a simple place where we show up and get to work every single morning.
