Site Engineer

Living and working in Sangam Vihar is an experience, to say the least. My office as a Site Engineer is at B-921 here in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people live here. It’s a busy place with constant construction. My day usually starts with a walk through the neighborhood to check on a couple of local jobs. The office at B-921 is just a part of where I live, really. It’s full of level pipes, measuring tapes, and stacks of old drawings. Being a Site Engineer in Delhi means you have to be tough because the heat and the dust can really get to you. I don't have a corporate office with air conditioning that works all the time. I’m usually out on the slabs or checking the brickwork. People come to me because I know the local area and the specific challenges of building in Sangam Vihar. I don’t make big promises; I just tell the owners what’s possible and what isn't. The work is hard and the hours are long, but seeing a building stand up straight is worth it. It’s just me doing my bit in this huge city, trying to make sure things are built the right way. I might not be the fastest at answering emails, but I’m always on the site when it matters.
