Gayal Engineers

If you go down Street No. 1 in Dabri Village, past the Shiv Mandir, you’ll find our workshop at Plot No. 21. Gayal Engineers is a small business we’ve run for quite some time now. It’s located at K. H. No. 38. The road can be a bit bumpy getting here, especially after the heavy rain. We handle basic engineering jobs, mostly repairs and small metal fabrications for local people. The shop is full of scrap metal and old parts we might need for a job someday. I usually have grease on my hands by ten in the morning. My brother and I do most of the heavy lifting ourselves because we don't have many staff. It’s a simple setup with a few welding machines and an old drill press. We don’t have a website or anything fancy like that. People just drop by because they know we can fix things that others won't bother with. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of the village before. It gets very hot in the shop during the afternoon, so we usually take a short break then. We aren't a big firm with suits and meetings. We’re just local guys who know how to work with steel and iron. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the bench until it comes back on. It’s a slow pace but the work gets done eventually. We like being part of the village life here near the temple.
