Sikander Lal & Sons

Sikander Lal & Sons has been operating out of Mayapuri Phase 2 for quite a long time now. You can find us at Ws-109, which is right across the street from that Indian Oil petrol pump everyone uses around here. It gets pretty noisy and dusty in this part of town, but that is just how it is when you are working in an industrial area like this one. My father started things up years ago and we just kept the doors open since then. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Mostly, we just focus on the daily jobs that come through. Sometimes it is busy and other times it is a bit slow, but we are always here from Monday through Saturday. The neighbors know us well enough. If you are driving down that main road, you will probably see the shop without much trouble. We do a lot of manual work and handle the stuff that people in the neighborhood need help with. It is not a very big place, just a standard unit in the block. We try to keep things organized but sometimes tools end up all over the floor when we are in the middle of a project. That is just part of the life here at WS-109. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we are just out back working with our hands. It's a living. We've seen the area change a lot, but our little corner stays the same.
