Sri Anjaneya Enterprises

Our shop is at 110 Joshi Road. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how packed it gets around here. Finding a place to park a scooter is nearly impossible some days. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a small space, filled mostly with boxes and parts we need for the day’s work. There is always a layer of dust that comes in from the street, no matter how much we sweep. Sri Anjaneya Enterprises is basically just a few of us working together. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. People usually just walk straight into the work area. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down lists of what needs to be delivered to people. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building pretty hard, so we usually keep the blinds halfway down. There’s a tea shop just a few doors away that makes decent ginger tea, so we go there often. The noise of the traffic on Joshi Road is constant, it’s like background music to us now. We try to keep things organized, but when we get a big shipment in, things can get a bit cluttered for a few days. It’s just how it goes in a place like this. We are just local people trying to keep things running smoothly. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to stop work long enough to do it.
