Shree Shyam Traders Company

We spend most of our time here at Okhla New Subzi Mandi 36. It gets really loud and busy around here very early in the morning when most people are still asleep. We handle a lot of trading stuff, mostly moving goods back and forth. The shop is just a regular place where we keep track of what comes in and what goes out. Some days are completely hectic with trucks coming in, and other days we just sit around checking the books or talking to the other guys in the market. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. There are crates everywhere and usually some tea sitting on the desk. We've been at this spot for a while now and most people around the Mandi know us by face. My cousin helps out with the unloading when it gets too much for just one person to handle. Sometimes the weather makes things hard, like when it rains and the ground gets all muddy, but we still have to get the work done. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders are right. Usually, we are here until the sun starts going down and then we lock up. It’s a lot of manual work and counting, but it keeps us busy. We just try to get the orders filled without making too many mistakes. That’s pretty much what goes on here every day.
