You can find Shree Ram Sai Chaat Private Limited over in Old Seemapuri. We are located at J-301 on the third floor. It is a bit of a walk up the stairs, but that is where we do all our cooking. Making chaat is what we know best. Every morning involves a lot of chopping and getting the spices ready for the day. The kitchen stays pretty warm because the burners are going for hours at a time. We don't have a fancy sign outside or a polished reception area. Usually, the smell of the spices and the fried snacks is enough to let people know they are in the right place. My brother helps with getting the supplies from the market while I stay back to manage the pots. We go through a lot of tamarind and curd every single week. Some days are quite slow, especially when it is raining and the streets of Delhi 110095 are messy, but the evenings are usually busy. We don’t have a large staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. The place is a working kitchen, so there is always a mess to clean up or a stack of dishes waiting. Most of our customers are people who live right here in Seemapuri. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything like that. We just focus on making the food the way we like it and keeping the business going one day at a time.
