Saagar Sweets

Saagar Sweets is our shop located at Wz-61/20 in the Gandhi Market area of Vashist Park, West Sagarpur. Being in the market means it’s always loud and there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been here in Sagar Pur for a long time now. The shop is full of trays of sweets and snacks that we make throughout the day. It’s not a polished, modern boutique. It’s a traditional sweet shop where the floors might be a bit worn and the shelves are always packed. We start early, around dawn, to get the first batches of milk and sugar going. A lot of our customers are regulars who come in every week for their favorites. We don't do much in the way of advertising. The smell of the shop usually does the work for us. We handle bulk orders for festivals and weddings too, which can get pretty intense during certain times of the year. Our staff is mostly just local guys who know the trade. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Delhi. We just want to keep the quality steady and make sure everyone who walks in leaves with what they needed. It’s a busy, sticky, and honest way to make a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
