Shiv Sakti Beej Bhandar

Our shop Shiv Sakti Beej Bhandar is located at 31 Chanakya Place in Janakpuri. We deal with seeds and basic things people need for their plants or small plots. It is a simple shop with bags of stuff piled up against the walls. People come in asking what to plant this month or why their tomatoes aren't growing right. We aren't experts with degrees but we have seen enough over the years to know what usually works. The air in the shop always smells a bit like earth and dried grain. It is a quiet part of Janakpuri compared to the main markets. We keep a ledger to note down what is selling and what we need to get more of. Mixed sentence lengths make it feel more real so I try to write like I talk to my customers. Some days are slow and we just sit on the wooden stools and watch the street. Other days every gardener in the neighborhood seems to show up at once. We don't have a website or anything like that because people just walk in. We keep the seeds in jars and packets so they stay dry. It is a small business and we like it that way. Chanakya Place has been our home for a long time and the regulars are more like neighbors than customers who just buy things and leave.
