You can find us in Hauz Qazi, tucked away in Gali Ghasiram over in Sirkiwalan. The number is 2856. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and everything feels very close together. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time now. It’s not the easiest place to navigate if you aren’t used to it, but it’s where all the trade happens. Every morning we open up and start moving stock around to make space. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. The walls are thick and it stays a bit cooler inside even when the sun is out. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just shelves and stacks of items we sell. People who come here usually know exactly what they are looking for. We talk to the neighbors every day, and everyone helps each other out when a big delivery arrives. It’s loud and crowded, but we like the energy of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just wait it out or use the lanterns. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a price or an invoice. Most things are done face to face. It’s just the way we’ve always done it here in the Gali. It’s a hard-working place with no frills and we're just here doing our thing daily.
