Sharma Cement Corporation

We’ve been at Plot No 14 in Asola for quite some time now. People usually find us near Bhati Mines Road when they come looking for Sharma Cement Corporation. It’s a busy spot around Fatehpur Beri, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. Dealing with cement means there is always dust everywhere, but we just get on with it. Sometimes the heat gets pretty bad out here, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We spend most of our day loading and unloading bags. It’s heavy work and my back definitely feels it by the evening. The yard isn't fancy or anything like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We keep the registers on an old wooden desk that's seen better days. Neighbors often drop by just to chat or ask about prices for their small home repairs. We know most of the guys driving the delivery vans around here by name. If you are heading down towards the mines, you can’t really miss our gate. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. Most days it’s just about making sure the inventory is right and the customers get what they need without too much fuss. It gets quiet after sunset, which is nice after all the noise of the machinery during the day.
