Shanti Devi Public School

You can find Shanti Devi Public School over at the Shant Sports Club, specifically in Pocket D 7 & 8 of Vasant Kunj. It is an interesting spot because we share the area with the sports club, so there is always some kind of activity going on nearby. You might hear a whistle from the field while a history lesson is happening inside. We have got the standard classrooms, but being near the sports facilities gives the kids a bit more room to breathe. It is not a fancy, high-rise building. It is more spread out and grounded. The furniture has some scratches, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint here and there, but it feels lived in. We do not have a bunch of suits running the place. It is mostly just us, the teachers and the helpers, making sure the kids have what they need for the day. Vasant Kunj is a busy part of town, but once you get inside our gates, it feels a bit more contained and quiet. We handle the daily grind—the exams, the lunch breaks, and the meetings with parents who are worried about their children. It is a straightforward school with a lot of history in this pocket of the neighborhood. We do not need a lot of bells and whistles to do what we have been doing for years.
