Shally Bhasin Maheshwari

I’ve been working out of 34 Bengali Market for quite a while now. If you know the Babar Lane area, you know it’s got a very specific feel to it, sort of old-school Delhi but still busy. My space here isn't large or fancy. It’s just a practical office where I can sit down and get my work done without too many distractions. Shally Bhasin Maheshwari is the name on the door, but it’s really just a one-person or small team operation most of the time. I like being in Bengali Market because everything you need is right there, from the food stalls to the little shops. The office itself is filled with papers and files, probably more than I actually need, but that’s how I stay organized. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There might be a stray tea cup on the desk or a stack of books that needs sorting. I don't use big mission statements or marketing talk to describe what I do. I just handle the tasks as they come in. Neighbors around Babar Lane are mostly other professionals or long-time residents, so there’s a nice sense of community. People usually find me through a friend or because they were already in the neighborhood. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the daily grind and making sure people are taken care of in a straightforward and honest way.
