Shakti Beej Bhandar

You can find Shakti Beej Bhandar at number 41 in Indra Market, which is part of the old Subzi Mandi area. This is where we spend most of our time. We deal with seeds and related things for farming and gardening. The shop is right in the middle of a very busy market. Every morning it is a bit of a rush with people coming and going. The air smells like earth and dried seeds. We keep everything in bags and containers all over the floor and shelves. It is a bit disorganized but we know where everything is kept. If someone asks for something specific, we can usually find it after a bit of looking. It is a small shop and the lighting isn't great, but it works for us. We talk to farmers and people who just want to grow a few things at home. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here in Indra Market. Sometimes we sit on small stools outside when it gets too hot inside. The traffic around Subzi Mandi is always a mess, so we usually walk or use a cycle to get around. We've seen many seasons pass from this shop. It’s just a simple life selling seeds. We don't try to be anything more than a local seed shop. We just provide what is available in the season.
