Shaheed Rajguru College Of Applied Sciences For Wome

Vasundhara Enclave is a pretty quiet corner compared to most of Delhi, and our college sits right in the middle of it. If you walk through the gates of Shaheed Rajguru College, you’ll see girls carrying heavy lab manuals and chatting near the canteen area. The labs are where most of the action happens. There’s always someone looking through a microscope or typing away on a computer in one of the computer rooms. It smells a bit like chemicals sometimes near the science wing, but you get used to that pretty fast. The garden area is a decent spot to sit when the weather isn't too harsh, though it gets crowded during the winter sun. We have these long corridors that feel endless when you're running late for a morning lecture. The staff room is always full of tea cups and half-graded papers piled on desks. It’s a busy life for everyone here. We don’t have those big flashy posters everywhere, just simple notice boards pinned with exam dates and some seminar flyers. People from all over the city come here, usually taking the metro and then a shared rickshaw to the gates. The security guards know most of the faces by now. It feels safe and focused. We have our fair share of broken chairs and lights that flicker occasionally, but we manage just fine. It’s just a place where young women come to figure out their futures. There is no fancy talk here, just a lot of studying and the occasional college fest that takes over everything for a few days.
