You can find us up on the first floor at 122 Moti Bazaar. Being in Chandni Chowk means it’s always a bit of a squeeze getting through the lanes. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the stairs up to our place are a little narrow and steep. Downstairs, the market is always shouting and moving, but once you get up here, it’s a bit different. It’s still busy, but in a more focused way. My name is Sunil, and we’ve kept this name Sewa Ram Sunil Kumar because it’s what people know. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. It’s mostly just paperwork and looking at stock. The fans hum overhead all day long because it gets quite warm in these old buildings. We usually have someone coming in every hour with a delivery or just to sit and talk for a minute. That’s just how business goes in Moti Bazaar. We don't have fancy office furniture or anything like that. It’s just old desks and stacks of items everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space, but we manage just fine. We have our routine, and we stick to it. Every morning we open up, dust things off, and start the day. It’s a bit dusty and loud, but it’s home for us. We wouldn't really know how to work anywhere else after all these years in the bazaar.
