Sethi Traders

Our little shop is tucked away at No. Bf 4A in the DDA Flats. If you know Munirka, you know how crowded it gets around the Mather Deray. We’ve been at Sethi Traders for quite some years. It started out small, just one room really, and it hasn't changed all that much since then. We trade in various goods, depending on what people are looking for and what we can get our hands on. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking lists. The stairs up to the flat can be a bit steep if you're carrying a heavy load. My uncle started this place, and now we just keep it going day by day. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. It is mostly just us answering the phone and writing things down in ledgers. Sometimes the neighborhood is noisy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We stay open pretty late to make sure we finish everything. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and we know our neighbors. People stop by just to chat sometimes, which slows us down, but that’s just how it is here. We just try to be reliable. If we say we have something, we usually do. If not, we tell you straight. That’s how we prefer to run things.
