Science Quiz Inter College

This is Science Quiz Inter College over in Paschim Vihar, specifically at B-353 in Jawalapuri. It’s a lively spot in New Delhi, especially in the mornings when all the kids are arriving for their classes. The building is right there in the middle of the neighborhood, so you hear the usual sounds of the street and the local vendors going about their day. We don’t have a huge campus with sprawling fields, but we make use of every corner of the space we have. It’s mostly classrooms and the staff room where we sit and go through papers. The walls have a few charts here and there, and there's always the smell of chalk and old books. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students are actually learning something useful. It’s a busy place, especially when exams are coming up and everyone is a bit stressed. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around for years and some newer faces. We usually share a pot of tea during the break and talk about the day's lessons. It isn’t a fancy private school with air conditioning in every room. It’s a regular place for regular kids who want to study. New Delhi 87 is a bit crowded, but it’s our corner of the city and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We just do our best for the kids.
