School Of Planning & Architecture

The School Of Planning & Architecture sits right in the middle of the chaos at ITO. We are at number 4, right across from Vikas Minar in Block B of the Indraprastha Estate. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know the vibe is always fast. There are always people rushing to catch buses or heading into the government buildings nearby. Our spot here is pretty functional. We have people coming in and out all day, mostly staff and students trying to navigate the halls. It’s not the quietest place to work because of all the traffic on the main road, but you get used to the hum of the city after a week or two. The building itself has been around for a long time and it shows in some corners, but that’s just part of the character. We don't have fancy receptionists or a lot of decorative stuff. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of drawings and papers piled up. We’ve been in this 110002 zip code for a long time. It feels like we are part of the landscape of the Indraprastha Estate now. Sometimes the power flickers or the AC struggles in the Delhi heat, but we just keep going. It’s a busy life here near the ITO crossing. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It’s just a place of learning and work for everyone involved.
