Down on Islam Colony Road in Mehrauli, at number 250/6, is where we do our teaching. It is a lively neighborhood, and there is always something going on right outside the door. Our tuition center is a modest setup. We have a few rooms where we gather the kids to go over their homework and prepare for their tests. It is not a large institute by any means. It is more like a local gathering spot for students who need a bit of extra time with their subjects. We have some benches, a few tables, and a lot of notebooks piled up. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few charts or calendars. During the evenings, the place is full of the sound of people talking and pens scratching on paper. We do not have a fancy reception desk; usually, someone just greets you at the door. Mehrauli can be quite congested, so we appreciate the students who make the effort to come here every day. It is a straightforward life for us. We drink a lot of tea and spend our hours looking over math problems and English essays. It is honest work and we like the kids who come here. We have been part of this street for a while now and feel like we belong to the local fabric. There is always a lot of grading to do, but we manage to stay on top of it.
