Satya Traders

Satya Traders is located on Ranchi Road, right in the middle of Palika Bazar. If you know this area at all, you know how crowded it gets during the middle of the day. It is always full of people looking for one thing or another. We set up our shop here because it is where all the action is. We handle a lot of different goods, mostly trading whatever seems to be in demand at the time. Our shop is not very big, so we have to make use of every inch of space we have. Boxes are usually stacked up high toward the ceiling. Sometimes I worry they might tip over, but we have gotten good at balancing them over the years. We have a few regular people who help us load and unload things from the carts. It is a lot of physical work and my back feels it some days. Ranchi Road is always noisy with horns and people shouting. You get used to the noise after a few weeks of working here. We start our day when the other shops start opening up their shutters. It is a long day, usually ending well after the sun goes down and the lights come on in the bazaar. We do not have any fancy displays or bright signs. People just come in, ask for what they need, and we see if we have it in the back. That is just how things work in the market.
