Nick Of Time

You can find us at number 5 in the Sarvapriya Vihar Market. It is a nice little corner of Hauz Khas, though parking can be a real headache some days when everyone is out shopping. The shop itself is not very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space we have to display things. I am usually here from ten in the morning until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. People from the neighborhood stop in quite a bit, mostly just to see what is new or to chat for a few minutes. We have a lot of different items on the shelves, and sometimes it feels a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is kept. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the entrance from all the foot traffic over the years. I tried fixing it once but it did not really hold up. We do not do any big promotions or anything like that. Word of mouth works well enough for us in this area. The air conditioner is old and makes a humming sound that you eventually stop noticing after an hour. On rainy days, we have to put a towel by the door because the rain splashes under the frame. It is just a small local business. My nephew helps me out with the heavy lifting when we get new stock in once a week. It is a decent place to spend the day and we know most of our neighbors.
