Swastik Pavers

We are over at C- 450 in Sarita Vihar. If you know where Apollo Hospital is, you are pretty much there since we are right near it. Our yard is usually full of paving stones and blocks stacked up high. It’s a messy place because of all the stone dust and the pallets. We spend most of our time outside or in the small office cabin near the entrance. It’s not the kind of place you wear nice shoes to. We’ve been making and selling pavers for a long time. People from the neighborhood stop by when they want to fix up their driveways or paths. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just one of us showing people the different colors and shapes we have in stock. The trucks coming in to load up make a lot of noise throughout the morning. We keep a ledger on the desk to track everything. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it's quiet enough to hear the birds. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done on paper. It’s a basic business. We just make sure the blocks are solid and ready to go. Living and working near the hospital means there is always traffic, but we are used to the hum of the city by now. It’s just how things are at our yard.
