S. R. Overseas

Our office is over at D-738 Saraswati Vihar in Pitam Pura. S. R. Overseas has been here for a good while now. It’s a decent neighborhood and easy enough for people to find. We do a lot of overseas trade work, which sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of it is just making sure the right papers are signed and the right containers are loaded. We have a small staff and we all know each other well. There’s no real hierarchy here; we just do whatever needs doing. Sometimes that’s packing a box, and other times it’s arguing with a shipping agent on the phone. The office isn't very large, but it’s organized enough for us to find what we need. We don't use any complicated software, just basic stuff that gets the job done. Pitam Pura is a busy place, and we see a lot of foot traffic outside. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just want to keep things running smoothly and avoid any major disasters. We’ve had our share of mistakes over the years, but we always try to fix them. People come to us because they know we’ll give them a straight answer. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours. We drink way too much coffee and the printer usually jams at the worst time, but we manage to stay afloat.
