Shagun Gowns

You can find Shagun Gowns at A-1/1 in Subhadra Colony, over in the Sarai Rohilla area. It is a residential kind of neighborhood, so it feels more like a community than a commercial hub. Our shop is right there on the corner. We have mannequins in the front that we dress up with different gowns, and they look out onto the street. Sarai Rohilla is near the railway, so you can often hear the trains passing by if you listen closely. The shop itself is quite small, so we have to be very careful with how we use the space. We have large cupboards to keep the gowns safe from dust and sunlight. Most of the people who come to us are from the nearby streets or heard about us from a friend. We spend a lot of time adjusting the pins and making sure the hemlines are straight. The floor is covered with a soft rug so people can walk around comfortably when they are trying things on. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us working through the orders. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside during our lunch break to watch the world go by. It is a simple business, focused on getting the clothes right for whoever walks through the door. The walls are painted a light cream color to make the room feel a bit bigger than it actually is. It is a quiet place.
