Sangivni Dental Clinic

Down here in Palam Colony, things stay pretty busy with the local shops and people moving about. Our clinic is right in the heart of the colony, and we have been in this same spot for a long time. It’s just a ground floor place with a small sign outside that sometimes gets covered by the parked scooters. Inside, there is the main dental chair which is quite old but still works fine, and the tray with all the tools. The walls used to be a brighter white, but now they are more of a cream color. We have a small TV in the waiting area, but mostly it just plays the news or some old movies with the volume turned down low. The smell of the clinic is something people always mention—that sharp, clean scent of a dentist's office. Most of our patients are neighbors who have been coming to us since they were kids. We don't have a computerized booking system; we just write everything down in a big blue diary. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things are in Palam Colony. We see a lot of people for toothaches or just to get things cleaned up. It's a modest place, but it serves the folks around here well enough. People usually just drop in when they have a problem.
