Advanced Dental Clinic

You can find us down in the basement at D-20 in Vivek Vihar. It is a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the sign near the stairs when you arrive. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice for everyone who visits. We’ve been running this dental clinic here for a good bit of time now. It isn't a huge space, but we have managed to fit everything we need into the few rooms we have. People from around Vivek Vihar usually just walk over or park their scooters outside on the curb. The lighting isn't like a big hospital; it feels more like a small home office. We spend our days looking at teeth and talking to the neighbors. Sometimes the sink leaks a little or the dental chair squeaks, but it doesn't stop us from doing what needs to be done. We get kids who are scared of the drills and old folks who just want to chat while we fix their dentures. It’s a quiet life down here below the street level. We keep our tools organized on the metal trays and make sure the place is scrubbed down every night. There’s a tea stall nearby, so the smell of ginger tea sometimes wafts down the stairs in the mornings. It is just a plain, honest place to get your teeth looked at. We don't put up posters or anything like that. People just know we are here.
