We run things out of Flat 195 here in East of Kailash. It is a DDA pocket, specifically Pocket B, and if you know the area, it is pretty quiet most of the time. Samak Organic Foods Llp started because we wanted better stuff for our own kitchen. My name is on the paperwork, but it is really a family effort. We are located at Dr. B.M. Sharma’s place. Dealing with organic food isn’t always easy, especially the logistics in Delhi. We spend a lot of time checking on suppliers. It is not a fancy office or anything. Most of the work happens at the dining table or on the phone. We try to keep things simple. If you are looking for us, just look for the Cat III buildings. People ask why we do this, and honestly, it is just because the food in the markets was not cutting it anymore. We do not have a big team. It is just us handling orders and making sure the boxes get where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic in South Delhi makes deliveries a bit slow, but we do what we can. Living and working in the same spot keeps our overhead low, which helps. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to supply decent organic options to people who care about what they eat. It is a lot of manual work and late nights, but that is just how it goes when you start something from home.
