Rekha Collections Desinger Boutique

We are located at No. 120 in Shahpurjat, very close to the Slice of Italy restaurant. If you have ever walked through the lanes here, you know it is a very busy and narrow place. Our boutique is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, and we have packed it with as many designs and fabrics as we can. It’s not very polished; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint and the shelves are always overflowing. We do most of the designing and work right here. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small details, which can be quite tiring for the eyes after a few hours. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big social media presence. Most of our customers are just people who live nearby or heard about us from a friend. Sometimes we have scraps of fabric all over the floor by the end of the day. It gets a bit loud outside with all the people and the traffic in Shahpurjat, but we are used to it by now. We don't try to act like we are some big fashion house. We are just a local boutique trying to make clothes that people want to wear. There are days when we are really busy and others when it’s quite slow, and we just use that time to organize the thread or clean up the cutting table. It’s a very hands-on job and we just take it as it comes.
