Sahab Overseas

We’re over at A-11 in West Laxmi Market, right near the Khureji Petrol Pump. It’s a landmark everyone knows, so it makes it easy to give directions. Sahab Overseas has been here for some time now. We deal with international trade, which basically means we spend our lives looking at shipping schedules and customs rules. It’s a lot of detail work. Some days it feels like we’re just swimming in paperwork and emails. The office is right in the middle of the market, so it’s always lively outside. You can hear the vendors and the cars all day long. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. We just have our name on the door and a lot of work to do inside. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got a couple of computers, a printer that jams occasionally, and enough chairs for everyone. We aren't a big company with a board of directors. It’s just a few of us trying to make a living and doing a good job while we’re at it. We know most of the people who work in the other shops around here and we often grab lunch from the local stalls. It’s a good community. We don't try to sound like we’re something we aren't. We just handle the exports and try to make sure everything gets where it’s going. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
