Purple Fashions

Our place, Purple Fashions, is at B-4/32 in Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a pretty well-known part of South Delhi, so it isn't too hard to find us. We are in one of those typical residential-style buildings that people use for businesses. It’s not a huge showroom with glass windows everywhere. Instead, it feels more like a house that’s been filled with fabric and clothes. We’ve got different rooms for different things. One room is just for storage and another is where we sit and talk to people. The light isn't always great in the hallway, but we know our way around. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but the street is usually lined with trees which makes it a bit cooler. We started out with just a few racks and it just grew from there. It’s just a handful of us working here. We handle the packing ourselves and make sure the labels are on straight. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like what they see. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish, but mostly we stick to regular hours. It’s just a quiet, steady business in a busy part of the city. We have been here for a couple of years now and we just keep at it day after day.
