Sachdeva Textiles New Delhi

We are over at No. 45 M. T. Road in New Delhi. This is where Sachdeva Textiles has been for quite a long time. The shop is mostly filled with different types of fabric. We have cottons, silks, and synthetics all mixed together. It smells like fresh cloth and a little bit of dust. The street outside is always busy with traffic. We have large windows in the front but they get dirty pretty fast from the road. I usually spend my mornings cutting fabric for orders. We have a very large wooden table that is scratched up from years of use. My son helps me with the heavy lifting of the rolls. We get customers from all over the city. Some are looking for dress material and others want stuff for curtains. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's more like a warehouse where you can browse. Sometimes the lights flicker when the neighbor turns on his big machine. We just ignore it. We keep a ledger for all the sales. It's an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works for us. We don't promise anything we can't do. If we don't have a color, we tell you straight. People appreciate that honesty. We just stay here and sell our cloth. It's a simple life on M. T. Road and we like it that way.
