S. S. Exports

S. S. Exports is located at L - 16 Chankya Place Part - 2. We are right opposite C - 1 in Janakpuri. It’s a decent spot, easy for the delivery vans to find. We’ve been working from this building for several years now. It’s a simple setup where we handle all our export business. The ground floor is where we keep the inventory and the small office is just up the stairs. It’s nothing fancy, just a few desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs and freight guys. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing but we’ve done it so many times it’s just routine now. My nephew helps me with the computer work because he’s faster at it. We have a couple of workers who help with the packing. We make sure everything is wrapped tight before it leaves the door. Janakpuri is a busy area but our little corner stays relatively organized. We don’t go in for big marketing or slogans. We just focus on the job at hand and making sure the shipments go out on time. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists. We enjoy the work though. It keeps us moving and we’ve made some good friends in the trade over the years. That’s really all there is to it. We keep things moving every single day without much fanfare.
